Alloys |
 |
A broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
are used. We produce all kinds of stainless steels,
carbon steels, alloy steels and non-ferrous materials
products in ASTM, DIN, AISI, JIS... standards according
to the customer's requirements. |

Linear tolerances |
 |
The general standard for linear tolerance of
investment castings is ¡Ó.005 per inch of length.
Tighter tolerances can be made available for a
few selected design characteristics. However,
please note that tighter tolerances usually require
special procedures and/or secondary operations
which can increase the cost and the production
time.

Angularity |
 |
Angular tolerance on investment castings should
not be less than ¡Ó1/2¢X. |
¡@ |
Concentricity |
 |
Concentricity tolerance varies according to straightness
at about ¡Ó.005" per linear inch of difference
between points of measure. |
¡@ |
Roundness |
 |
Out of round is the radial difference between
a true circle and the cast surface diameter. The
standard tolerance is ¡Ó.005 per inch for axial straightness,
roundness (bar or tube shapes) and positioning of
holes or bosses. |

Flatness |
 |
Flatness is measured as the distance between two
parallel planes, within which the entire surface
of the part must lie. Flatness deviation is a function
of shrinkage in the wax and metal in solidification.
It is directly related to the thickness of the cross-section
and although each casting will vary individually,
a rough tolerance guide would be .003" T.I.R.
(Total Indicator Reading), for each 1/4" thick
section. This variation will be apparent in surfaces
of 1" or more linear dimension. |
